- As a Muslim, one should understand the importance of the Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH), as the Prophet (PBUH) said: “Whoever turns away from my Sunnah is not from me”. Without the Sunnah we can never truly understand and follow the religion of Islam properly, so one should strive to follow the Sunnah as much as you are able to and be aware of the devastating consequences of abandoning the Sunnah. We should follow the Sunnah just as our predecessors did.
